Walking With God In The Desert

Led by Mark Ward - No Book - No Fee - Room A-200
Are you going through a difficult period of life? The loss of a loved one? Unemployment? A crisis of faith? During these desert times, it’s easy to think God has disappeared. Through this study you will discover that it’s only when we are totally dependent on Him that we find God is closer than ever
The follow-up Bible study to the movie "Courageous" will be offered at Flat Creek Baptist.
Seeing the movie is not required to take this Bible study:
"Honor Begins At Home"
Begins Sunday, March 4th at 4:45 p.m.
(Note: There are activities for Preschool/Children/Youth at this same time.)
Cost: $8 each for book
The study will be eight session long and will conclude on Sunday, April 29th.

James: Mercy Triumphs

James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. And, in this process, learn how you can put your faith into action.
Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer.
No matter where you are in your walk with the Lord, you will find answers here.

One of the steps in our walk with the Lord is to study His Word and learn to let it change our lives. Flat Creek offers a wide range of small group Bible Study classes designed to help you and your family grow closer to the Lord. We offer classes designed to minister to the family in every area including relationships, finance, health, sharing your faith, parenting and many others. You do not have to be a member of Flat Creek to attend these classes. Classes may be just for men, just for women or CoEd, it will be specified which applies. Sunday Night Bible Study
On Sunday night, in the Sanctuary ay 6:00 p.m., we have a time of worship then the Pastor leads a time of Adult Discipleship which requires no book or fee (for men and women). See this page for other Sunday Discipleship classes.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
On Wednesday night the Pastor leads Prayer Meeting and Bible study at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. We have a time for prayer requests and pray for those in special need. The Pastor will then lead in Bible study for adults (for men and women - there is no charge or required book for these sessions). The topics may very but the Truth remains the same.
